I like to make these biscuits with my mom to have for our family dinners. We like to make this big batch and save the leftovers for the next day’s breakfast!
Ingredients:
4 cups freshly milled flour
3 TBS baking powder
1 tsp himalayan salt
2 TBS coconut sugar
½ cup cold butter
1 ½ cups buttermilk
Directions:
- Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, coconut sugar, and cold butter. Mix with hands until the mixture forms small pebble-like pieces
- Add in the buttermilk gradually, mixing with a spatula. The dough should be wet, firm, and not sticky.
- Between two pieces of parchment paper, roll out the dough to desired thickness of biscuits.
- With a mason jar, make rounds inside the dough and place the rounds on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve with butter and honey or jam!
