Isaiah 43:2 is a verse with vivid imagery of the trials and difficulties of life. This passage reminds me and encourages me that even when we go through struggles, we do not go through them alone. As believers, we enjoy the protection and presence of God who promises to help us and bring us through the challenging waters of life. James tells us that God uses trials for our growth and to transform us into the image of Christ. Isaiah 43:2 inspires this piece with the visual reminder of the Christian who passes through the roaring waves.
